Located on the top of Texas sits Worley Hospital. It was built in the 1930’s and was the second hospital built in Pampa. The original owners really cared about the community however with the lack of revenue the hospital eventually closed its doors in the 1970’s. Paranormal groups have investigated the building due to the rumors of locals seeing a silhouette of a person standing in the window. The building has been broken into countless times and vandalized. However, this does not discourage the current owners hope into renovating the building into a ministry one day.

Do u have a picture of the delivery room? I was born there in 1947.

I am a lead Paranormal Investigator here in Amarillo. I would like to know who to contact about the hospital and see I can have my team to investigate.
I know someone who has access to get into the building. They are close family who bought it. Hope you see this. Email me at rainthekeidran@gmail.com

I started working for Cabot Corporation Machinery Division in 1965. I was in the cut shed and bumped my right shin on a bucket that had chips and grease in it. The top was all jagged. My leg became infected. I went to Dr. Overton and he entered me into the Worley Hospital. I was there for nine days with my leg propped up.,taking antibiotics. One night while I was there around 11:00 PM o'clock, there was an elderly lady mopping the hall and just slightly into my doorway. The next morning when my breakfast was served I asked the… Read more »
Very interesting story, I'd hope to see the old Hospital as it once was one day.
